According to Business Week, a builder has now signed on to start work on the project, rumoured to cost up to $120 million to complete.

Paweł Podwojewski, the architect who came up with the design two years ago, told Business Week he designed the structure more like a ship than a building. According to reports, the above-the-waterline portion of the hotel is to be built tough enough to withstand tsunamis while the submerged portion can lift off the sea floor in the event of rough weather. – Read More
